What is Roulette?

 
 

If you have been to a casino or some other gambling establishment, then you have probably seen the casino style game that is a wheel with red and black squares inside that are marked with numbers and a single green square. This particular casino game is known as roulette. The name roulette is derived from the French language because its meaning is wheel.

How do you play Roulette?

In order to play Roulette, you must place a bet or you can place numerous bets on the wheel. The roulette dealer will then spin the wheel in one direction once all bets have been made. Then a small ball is sent to spin in the opposite direction. After a while, the spins begin to slow and the ball falls on to the numbered portion of the wheel.

Making Bets in Roulette:

You can bet in numerous different ways in roulette. You can bet on the following:

  • You can bet that the ball will land on a particular number.
  • You can bet that the ball will land on an odd number.
  • You can bet that the ball will land on an even number.
  • You can bet that the ball will land on a red area.
  • You can bet that the ball will land on a black area.
